Our preschool has been a cornerstone of the Faith Lutheran community for over 20 years. We believe the earliest years shape a child's heart - and we take the privilege of that shaping seriously.
Children sing, play, learn, pray, and grow alongside teachers who know them by name. Each day weaves together letters and numbers with Bible stories, music, and plenty of time to simply be a child.
Faith Lutheran School offers a Christian preschool program open to all children ages 3-5 years of age. We offer three different preschool classes:
All of these programs run from September (after Labor Day) through May (before Memorial Day).
Our specific objective is that all children in our care will experience a loving and nurturing atmosphere. Students will enjoy a stimulating environment designed to enhance cognitive, emotional, spiritual, social and physical growth. Children will discover God’s presence, love and care in their daily lives as they explore their feelings and the emotions of those around them, the world in which they live, their family relationships and the beauty of nature and God’s word. Children are guided by Christian caregivers who recognize them as unique children of God, deserving of love, respect and acceptance. Our caregivers are professionally trained in child care and development and meet the licensing requirements for the State of Delaware. Our student to teacher ratio is 2:12 per class.
Christian teachers with degrees in Early Childhood Education teach our classes. The staff provides a loving and supportive atmosphere for students, offering personal attention and guidance to each child.
