Faith that stays inside our walls isn't faith at all. We are sent - locally and around the world - to share Christ's love in word and deed.

Sharing the word of Jesus Christ through a loving and caring ministry, responding to the needs of all people.
Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.- Psalm 82:3
In partnership with Lutheran Community Services, Faith operates a community foodbank to help local families in need.
Please talk to Pastor Mike if you or someone you know needs assistance.
In partnership with one of our members, Faith collects and distributes blankets, socks, hats, gloves, and toiletries for the homeless in honor of Matt.
After her son died of a prescription overdose, MaryBeth carries on her son's memory - and his spirit of generosity - by helping homeless people in Wilmington.
In partnership with Child Beyond International - an orphanage and home-building organization for the impoverished in Guatemala - Faith sent a team down to build a very basic home for a widow and her children as part of a community effort with local Guatemalan pastors one week during the summer of 2019.
Ongoing support in the form of child sponsorships, as well as the purchases of fresh coffee beans from Guatemala, help support those in circumstances of extreme neglect and abuse.
Lutheran Women in Mission - we joyfully proclaim Christ, support missions, and equip women to honor God by serving others. It is where each woman is welcomed and encouraged to use her unique God-given gifts as she supports global missions and serves the Lord with gladness.
One of the primary ways we do this is with Mite Offerings, based on the Biblical account of the widow's mite (Luke 21:1–4). The Mite Box is intended for regular contributions of "mites" - offerings above and beyond the support given to local congregations and the larger church body. Small Mite Box contributions amount to "mighty" millions of dollars that fund a wide variety of efforts to fulfill the Great Commission: Go and make disciples of all nations.
Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a fraction of a penny.
Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth, but she, out of her poverty, put in everything - all she had to live on.”
Every member of Faith is a missionary. You can join the work through prayer, through volunteering, through financial giving, or simply through being present with a neighbor who needs a friend.
